This sketch above is supposed to be Saudi King Abdullah and it has my notes about what
I observed about him from a news story, to help me remember how to paint it.
I am not trying to start an international war by how I rank my photos of my original
sketches of them. I try to think it through from a protocal standpoint but sometimes
there are all important dignataries or Presidents or ruling heads of state and
or Kings or Queens and then I reason that in case they don't like the sketch they
won't be shocked to see themselves on the front page of my website with my name on it.

Below of course is my sketch of  German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the G20 conference as I observedher to be on the BBC news. This was a second effort to get it right and it is not perfect nor are these but merely rough sketches done quickly often in 30 minutes of my time to'capture' an impression I had from the news or BBC. These are intended to encourage the world that GOD loves everyone not just important people; and that is the entire purpose of the ethnic paintings I am prepping for when I am doing sketches. This sketch following is supposed to be Iranian President Ahmadinejad, from a photo I saw of him in the news also. In my sketch he looks more American than Iranian so no offenseintended to him or to Iraq! I am hesitant to add these sketches because they are so primitive [quickly done-- fast-fast as I saw the photo on news] and when I paint them in oils it takes hours! Sometimes weeks,  but I thought it might help the world to know that this is my website and this issome of the prep for painting in oils.
